Why should you or your staff attend?
Learn from experienced academics, municipal and MTO staff and consultants, including senior traffic/transportation engineers, technologists, planners, law enforcement and other specialists.
Participate alongside police officers from law enforcement services across Ontario in classes and assignments to better understand enforcement and relationships and to build important networks.

What you will learn:
This two-week course spans the full range of key areas, from transportation system characteristics, flow and capacity analysis, traffic operations, traffic control devices, and pedestrian/bicycle facilities to collision data analysis and Intelligent Transportation Systems.  The course curriculum is updated annually to address current practices and new issues and is instructed by a team of expert practicing engineers, academics and other senior professionals.

Students gain a solid, comprehensive understanding of the principles and working concepts of all major areas of traffic engineering as they are practiced today.  At the end of the course, students should be able to review traffic issues and determine possible solutions.  The residential nature of the courses also allows participants to network and gain valuable career relationships.
